NOVEMBER 2008

NOW EXHIBITING AT:

Vale and Downland Museum: Gift to Delight exhibition in Wantage, Oxfordshire will be running from Tuesday 25th November to the Friday 9th January. I will be showing a selection of my prints, framed and unframed. Please do visit this delightful museum over the next Month as there will also be a selection of crafts and other gifts in conjunction with the art work.

OCTOBER 2008

I did go on my balloon ride in the end, despite the miserable August weather. Here are some of the photos I took in the morning which I will go on to use as reference for my new 2009 paintings.

SEPTEMBER 2008

The Charity Art Auction at Maggies was a fantastic night and I know that plenty of money was raised that will go towards building a new £3 million Centre at the Churchill Hospital, Oxford.

Here is the piece of work I submitted which I'm pleased to say raised £50.

ART FOR A GREAT CAUSE

I was recently asked if I would like to submit a small piece of art work to raise funds for the Maggie's Art Exhibition and Auction coming up later this monthwhich is a Cancer Treatment Centre at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford. I didn't have a painting that was small enough so I have produced a piece especially for the exhibition. I can't show it until afterwards the event on the 26 th September as the work will be presented anonymously. HOT AIR

AUGUST 2008 - A fantastic and very busy month so far. I've sold two original paintings 'The Clumps' and 'The Dragon' at Art@Goring and have had numerous orders for prints.

As a result of some very positive feedback about my painting 'The Dragon', I've also had some greetings cards produced of this landscape which are now available for sale at £1.75 each or £7.50 for a pack of 5. I will be producing a whole range of greetings cards in the next 6 months.

JULY 2008

For the past 6 months I have spent nearly all of my time at my studio working on enough material for a solo exhibition in November 2008. This will be for the whole month at the Skylight Gallery in Marlborough, Wiltshire.

I'm also really pleased to have got some of my original paintings accepted into the gallery Art@Goring in Goring-on-Thames in Berkshire.
